Mozilla’s new Firefox 14 is the latest version of Firefox browser which comes with added security measures to it and the notable thing about the browser is that it will be easier for the user to control their web experience.

The upcoming version of Firefox has added new features to it and the open source browser is designed for better performance.Release Date : The final version of Firefox 14 will be available from July.

Improvements :

HTTPS by Default
In the beta 14 Firefox, HTTPS is enabled by default for Google searches to protect users “from network infrastructure that may gather data, modify or censor search results,” . This also prevents 3rd party sites from gathering search data when you click a search result page.

A New ‘Red Flag’
The feature is also included in the latest beta version of firefox to display the verified identity of a website in the browser’s Awesome Bar, or URL field.

More Control Over Plug-ins
Firefox 14 also allows the users to control how plug-ins like Flash and Quicktime play. Mozilla explained “Future releases will include more specific customizations and a robust interface; for now, you can experiment with the feature by selecting plugins.click_to_play to ‘true’ in about:config,”

Better Lion Support
The browser will support full-screen support of OS X Lion 10.7 for Mac users.

URL Auto-Complete
The browser also auto-Completes the address as you type, this feature is available in Google Chrome.
