Volkswagen hikes the values of Polo and Vento

With its headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra (India), the Volkswagen Group is a part of Volkswagen AG, which is globally represented by 9 brands. The highest volume brand of the Group is Volkswagen. Volkswagen motor car ranges Jetta, Passat, Phaeton, New Beetle etc. From December 12, 2009 the new Pune plant has started rolling-out the hatchback version of the Volkswagen Polo following which Vento was released in few years time.

Volkswagen one of the famous European based Car maker on 28-1-13 said that “It has hiked the prices of its Polo and Vento by up to 2.27% which will be effective from the Monday (28thJan2013).”Following the price hike the Polo is now been priced between Rs.4.92 lakh to Rs. 7.08 lakh, while the Vento costs around Rs. 7.32 to Rs. 9.96 lakh in the ex-showrooms of Delhi. The company had put up for sale up to 62,507 units of Polo and Vento preceding year and expecting to go on more this year as the carlines have been given latest updates.

The motive behind the increase in the value of the cars are expected to be their improvisations because the company in a statement said that, “Volkswagen today announced the increase in prices of its volume carlines the Polo and Vento effective today. The increase in prices comes against the backdrop of additional features incorporated in both the carlines.”

Volkswagen’s updated cars Polo and Vento have received advanced qualities like Music System with Bluetooth, USB, Climatronic Air Conditioner and few other features. Volkswagen made it official that both the carlines up to 2.27% will perceive a raise in prices.

Arvind Saxena, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Managing Director commenting on the price hike said that,” Our aim has always been to give our customers a good value proposition and once again we are glad to be able to offer a good reason for them to buy these carlines.”
